Founded in 2025 by Alain Etchart and Eric Kroczynski, at the crossroads of music, technology, design, and visual arts, GALERIE MILTON was born from a shared desire to explore the frontiers of contemporary art.
A pivotal encounter with MICHEL BATLLE, an elusive creator with a protean body of work, acted as a catalyst. Confronted with the intensity of his universe, the conclusion became clear: not only must his work be represented, but a space must be imagined that matches the scale of his vision.
Located at 22 rue Milton, nestled between Montmartre hill, rue des Martyrs, Pigalle, and the Hôtel Drouot, GALERIE MILTON stands in the heart of Paris’s artistic landscape, in a neighborhood steeped in a rich cultural legacy. The gallery showcases a wide variety of artistic forms—paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints—each work expressing, in its own way, a balance between bold contemporary vision and artistic heritage.
The curatorial line draws inspiration from the vibrant artistic energy of the late 20th century, while remaining open to today’s scene and emerging talents. It brings together major figures such as Robert Combas, Ben Vautier, Man Ray, Georges Mathieu, Jaume Plensa, Arman, Keith Haring, and of course, Michel Batlle. But beyond the names, it is a spirit that guides us: a bold sense of freedom, inspiration unbound by convention, and an exploration where the unexpected meets the self-evident.
A living space, where art stirs emotion and sparks dialogue.
