Biography

Michel Batlle, born in 1946 in Toulouse, is a French artist of Catalan origin. His father, a refugee from the Spanish Civil War, passed on to him a cultural heritage marked by exile and resilience. Coming from a family of artists, he developed a passion for painting and sculpture from a very young age.

His work is distinguished by a great diversity of styles and techniques, mixing abstraction and figuration. He explores themes such as identity, memory and movement. In addition to painting, he creates monumental sculptures, often integrated into public spaces.
